Open Range Imaging used a variety of source material to create this unique map. Aerial survey data and CAD site plan files of the resorts 600 acres were combined with two different "resolutions" of USGS topographic (DEM) data. Satellite photography was applied to the resulting 3D mesh. High resolution photography was used for the area immediately surrounding the resort. Medium resolution photography was used for the more distant terrain. In all over 150 square miles of desert landscape are stylistically represented. The foreground shows the features and trail system of the resort. Lake Powell, Navajo Mtn. and the Colorado River Canyon immediately below the Glen Canyon Dam are seen in the background.

An initial press run of 1,000 Trail Guides have been distributed and a second press run is underway. Additionally the Trail Map has been enlarged, framed and displayed in one of the resorts common areas and is also reproduced in the bound guest guide for each suite.
