Open Range Imaging is owned, operated and was founded by Mark Frankmann in 1998. Open Range Imaging is located in the town of Telluride, Colorado. Open Range Imaging is dedicated to producing the finest quality work that conforms to the highest standards. Open Range Imaging is committed to customer satisfaction.

About Me

I’ve made Telluride my home since 1976, drawn to the world class skiing and extraordinary year round outdoor experiences. Many years of work as a homebuilder and later Project Superintendent fostered my interest in architecture. A strong desire to engage my creative spirit led to starting up my own venture, Open Range Imaging.

Experience

Primarily self taught with a special focus on 3D visualization, I began using CAD and Graphics software with the advent of the first windows based systems. I have since developed a valuable set of skills that spans multiple disciplines including expertise with website design, graphics and illustration, while staying current with the best of class professional software and hardware. I bring that specialized focus and 12 years of real world experience with more than one hundred completed projects to all of my work.

Other Interests

In addition to my work I’m active in many seasonal outdoor pursuits including skiing, whitewater kayaking, mountaineering and desert exploration, and I am a co-founder / heli-ski guide at Telluride Helitrax.

 

I also play keyboard and jam with friends in a rockabilly band “The Gold Kings”.
